JOIN US FOR Bans off Our Bodies BROWARD. We are coming out to support the advocacy of Planned Parenthood, Ultraviolet, MoveOn and Women's March as we reclaim our freedom to choose what is best for our bodies with reproductive health and abortions.

1) Our event is from 11am to noon. There is public parking in a garage behind the courthouse. 299 Broward Blvd. Fort Lauderdale.
2) We have made no plans to march as we are in front of 4 lanes of traffic and at the busiest intersection of Broward. We are expecting a large crowd and want to ensure folks are safe.
3) Unlike the last Women's March, there is no suggested color of pink. Green has been suggested but honestly don't stress, wear what is comfortable for you.
4) We are seeing an increase in COVID positivity rates in Broward and ask that folks please practice COVID safety with masks and hand sanitizing.
5) Please avoid imagery of coat hangers and hand maidens. These are triggering and organizers of national groups have asked us to stress that we remind everyone to please avoid coat hangers and hand maidens.
6) Please note there are not public bathrooms available as we are on the steps of the courthouse. We are there for 1 hour, so please plan accordingly.
7) Please bring homemade signs!
8- If we have disrupters avoid eye contact, conversation, and alert the head organizers. Practice safety and do not engage any disrupters.
9) If media is there feel free to chat with them but be make sure they are not alt-right wacky media folks. We did have a few crazies show up a few years ago, so just ask for media credentials if you are asked to speak on camera and you are not sure who they are.
10) There is no cost for this event. Parking lots do charge for parking if you choose a nearby garage.
