Broward League member Barbara Markley, will participate in "The Only Way Out Is Through: Safer Schools, Stronger Communities", a national town hall focused on the continuing crisis of school shootings in America.
Hosted and moderated by Montel Williams, the program will bring together survivors, families, educators, students, law enforcement, mental and behavioral health experts, school safety professionals, researchers, policymakers, and other leaders for a candid and solutions-focused conversation.
The event will be held at Florida Children's Theatre on the campus of Broward College: 3501 Davie Rd Bldg. 5-101, Davie, FL 33314, from 7 to 10 p.m. Nov. 12.
The public is invited to attend, at no charge, and the event will also be live streamed on Roku, Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV. The forum will also be archived on Absolutely Indie Network and available to viewers at no charge, further increasing its potential reach. Please join us!
